Experience the connection between art and faith amidst the timeless beauty of Northern Italy, as you join our upcoming Art and Faith Creative Retreat! We’re doing some exciting new things for our Lake Como retreat next year, as we spend 8 days together full of inspiration, reflection, and creativity in Lake Como and Milan, surrounded by the stunning scenery of these iconic Italian destinations! And, we’ve added an extra day to our itinerary so we can enjoy some very special Markets together and explore some new places on our itinerary next year!

Here’s what’s included in our Art & Faith Creative Retreat:

• 8 Nights/9 Days in Beautiful Accommodations:  8 nights in a delightful apartment or hotel nestled in the heart of Bellagio, Italy, offering a captivating blend of elegance and comfort.

• Private Transfers to and from Milan Malpensa Airport: Enjoy the seamless convenience of private transfers to and from the airport, ensuring stress-free arrival and departure experiences.

• Welcome Reception & Aperitivo: We’ll kick off our adventure with a welcome reception, where we'll enjoy delicious drinks & delectable bites while mingling with our new friends, setting the stage for an unforgettable experience together!

• Tours of Milan & Bellagio with our Beloved Local Guide: Immerse yourself in the rich history and culture of Milan & Bellagio with guided tours led by my dear friend Rita, who will unveil the hidden gems and fascinating stories of the history of this part of Italy. (You will love Rita too, & you’ll see her throughout the entire retreat)

• Milan Antique Market: We’ll explore the vintage market along the Navigli in Milan, looking for hidden treasures to bring home with us.

• Creative Art & Journaling Classes: Tap into your creativity with engaging art and faith journaling classes with ME (Laura McCollough) where I’ll share how we can connect our creativity to our Creator and be inspired to express ourselves through our Art & Faith in unique and meaningful ways.

• Theme Based Creativity: “The Art of Writing Your Story.” Next year we’ll delve into what this looks like as faith-filled creatives, and how we can share our stories of God’s faithfulness with our friends and family (and the next generation) in creative ways. I can’t WAIT to share what the Lord has put on my heart with this theme, I know it will be a blessing to each women who attends.

• Morning Devotions in Peaceful Locations: We’ll start our days with moments of reflection and stillness, as we meditate on God’s Word in peaceful locations and allow for our faith to be deepened amongst the beauty of God’s creation.

• Private Boat Tour Exploring Lake Como's Beauty: We’ll embark on a private boat tour to discover the beauty of Lake Como from a new perspective, cruising along the waters and admiring the picturesque landscapes and Villa’s from our private boat.

• Lakeside Lunch that will Delight Your Senses: We’ll savor a gourmet lakeside lunch as we gaze out across the water, smell the scent of fresh baked bread from the nearby kitchen, (the wife is from France, so the cheese and bread are AMAZING) and feel a sense of peace wash over you like you haven’t felt in years.

• Private Cooking Class or Kayaking Tour: Choose between a private cooking class where you'll learn the secrets of authentic Italian cuisine or a kayaking tour for an amazing exploration of Lake Como's hidden shores.

• Guided Tours of Famous Villas and Gardens: Explore the storied estates and lush gardens of Lake Como's most renowned villas around the lake, immersing yourself in their rich history and breathtaking beauty. We’ll cross the lake to the charming villages of Menaggio and Tremezzo, each with its own distinct beauty and hidden treasures waiting to be discovered. • 6 Dinners & 4 Lunches in Enchanting Locations: Indulge in Italian cuisine served in picturesque villages we’ll explore during the week, with each meal a culinary experience to remember.

• Themed Bible Study Book: Receive a beautiful devotional book personally written for this retreat by Laura McCollough that offers daily inspiration and guidance, enriching the soul with its heartfelt reflections and allowing each student to grow in a deeper understanding of God’s Word amidst the beauty of our time together in Italy.

Walking through the enchanting villages of Lake Como, Italy feels like stepping into a painting where every corner reveals a new layer of charm and beauty.  The serene waters of Lake Como glisten in the distance, framed by majestic mountains and storybook villages, creating a backdrop that is simply breathtaking. Every corner holds something new to discover; a cozy cafe for the perfect cappuccino, a quaint shop selling local crafts, or the perfect view to inspire our art journaling. Bellagio's timeless elegance, yet relaxed atmosphere, makes it the perfect place for our creative retreats… and we love to encourage you, pamper you and serve you in this beautiful setting. We’ll start the retreat in the heart of Milan, the fashion capital of the world, where we’ll take you to some of the most beautiful places, with my dear friend Rita as our tour guide! We’ll also experience the famous Navigli Antique Market together, a vintage market that happens only once in a while, along the river, right in the heart of the city!

One of my greatest joys during the retreats is sharing these places we love and the special friendships we’ve made on the lake with you. As you meet our friends and enjoy these special places, they quickly become your favorites as well! These moments seamlessly blend together into a tapestry of our shared experiences that enriches your time at our retreats, and forms friendships and memories that will last a lifetime. In fact, this week there are two ladies who have joined our retreats over the years who have brought their own families here and we get to meet with them this week and catch up on life! I can’t begin to describe what a joy it is to share these places with YOU and see you come back with family and friends time and time again.
