Here’s what I’m loving THIS week…
Kim Pepper is teaching with me next June
in Bellagio, Italy!
If you don’t know Kim… you should! She joined me last year at our retreat in Bellagio, very last minute, because I had a cancellation three days before the retreat and I instantly knew I needed to call her and ask her if she wanted this spot! You see a few years earlier she had signed up to come to one of my retreats and SHE got sick a few days before. She offered her spot up to anyone who could get on a plane fast enough, and one of her followers did just that! Jo got on a plane and came in her place.(And has been to my retreats several times since then too) So when this happened last year to someone else, I thought it was the perfect “pay it forward” moment to see if Kim could fill this woman’s spot. And she did! It was so fun having her there and getting to know her in person.
So, now it feels like the perfect time to have Kim teach with me next year, and I know if you join us, you will LOVE the beautiful journaling project we are collaborating on for our retreat June 12-19, 2027.

Kim lives in the Texas Hill Country with her husband, Ladd, and her three children, Mae, Hank, and Sadler.”

Last thing…
As you probably know by now, I have a YouTube channel where I share about Art & Faith in all kinds of creative ways. Last Saturday (I post a new video every Saturday) I shared a look back on my Paris retreat last September through the eyes of my travel journal. I share the things I WISH I KNEW about Travel Journaling when I first started, and give some practical advice if you’re wanting to document your travels as well.

This Saturday’s video will be a cozy, fall video as I swatch my Gouache paint colors and show how I create a fall color palette… just in time for our Vermont retreat next month. I’ll also share how I set up my Traveler’s Notebook for this time of year and set up my travel art palette (and the ones I’m gifting the ladies at the retreat) that I’ll be taking with me!
