A Peek Behind the Creative Curtain…
I’m leaving for Paris… Today!
I’ve been busy getting all the goodies for the ladies together, packing it all into my suitcases and saying goodbye to my grand babies… and now I’m getting on a plane!
I can’t wait for the 1st Art & Faith Creative Retreat of 2026!
And, would you believe I’m already praying and planning for our 2027 retreats? Yes, it’s TRUE. It takes well over a year to plan each retreat, so I start praying about locations and looking into things far in advance, and I have to say… I’m SO excited about the possibilities for next year! If you want to join us THIS year though, I only have 2 spots left for our Vermont retreat, and you can find the details for that retreat HERE if you’d like to join us.

You may have found me from my new YouTube channel (last Saturday’s video was so well liked, thank you…) or you may have found me from the FaithFest 2026 that I’m excited to be a part of! It’s been a joy to encourage women in their God-given creativity (even if they don’t think they are creative) for over 15 years now, through our Art & Faith Creative Retreats, and through this blog and social media. One of my favorite parts of Faith Fest is that you don’t just watch someone make a page, you get to peek behind her creative curtain. You see how she thinks. How she wrestles with scripture. How she interprets a verse. How she makes decisions. Where she hesitates. Where she feels bold.
And you quickly realize… that is something beautiful.
This year we’re all teaching from Mark 14:3–6, and you’ll see that same passage come alive in completely different creative expressions.
