Friday Art & Faith Talks…

I just finished my manuscript for this years devotional book!!

It’s off to the editor and then to the printer… (after many edits I’m sure) But thank you for your prayers this week!

It has been the hardest one to write thus far, so praise the Lord for helping me in these past few weeks as I struggled along. My brain is in a fog, so I can’t even remember what I was going to talk about this Friday!

So I’m going to postpone this blog post until next week, when my brain returns to some sort of normal. lol

But…This weekend I’m going to record a new video all on journals!

I’ve had so many of you ask me what journals I use for art, what journals I use for Bible Journaling… so I thought I’d put a video together to share my thoughts a bit deeper on this subject.

I know a lot of you who are joining us this year on a retreat have also asked this question, so this video should be up later next week with some helpful information.

P.S. Here’s a ‘WIP” on my desk currently. Unfortunately I couldn’t keep up with my goal of drawing/sketching or painting every day this year, with the book writing and all. But, I did make it past 100 days in a row! I’m hoping to get back to it, even if it’s just a quick 10 minute sketch. It was such a joy to have art in my life every day and I hope it encourages someone else to give it a try too!
